We need book trailers to advertise our new books (this year's books). Look at the Library Pinboards to find examples of what we are looking for.

Choose videos that are professionally produced and have the name of the publisher on them (THE OFFICIAL TRAILER).

Do not use fan or student produced videos. Do not duplicate others' links.

Put a link to the YouTube video under the genre. Put your name next to the links you add so you can get credit. Copy your work onto your NAME page.

PICK THREE BOOKS IN THE SAME GENRE

You will create bookmarks and a book display for 3 books in one genre (ex. historical fiction, biography, mystery, romance, paranormal, dystopian).
Get your book choices and genre approved BEFORE starting to work.
a) After approval, create your bookmarks and email them to me to be printed in color. Then we will cut them out and laminate them.

Use them along with the books you select to create a book display on one of the shelves in NEW BOOKS.
b) Then write a synopsis or book review (about half page) for each of the three books. Include the synopsis of the 3 books in your display.

Be sure to include an eye-catching genre heading and some realia in your display.
Post a picture of your display on your main page.

Pick your three books, get approval. Create the three bookmarks and email them to cshinn@asheboro.k12.nc.us.
Work on display (signage, synopses, realia). Complete assignment by 1/10.

Make a SMORE about your three books. www.smore.com.
Embed at least one book trailer in your smore. Give credit to all your sources for pictures, video.
